Since the early age of something\nlike thirteen years old, I participated in many commercial and not commercial\nprojects, but money itself was never a priority for me. I did not feel it was\nimportant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember being a 21-years-old\nvisiting student and walking at around 5 am with my supervisor on Main Street\nin Cambridge, MA, after a productive night of research, and saying something\nlike “I think the scholarship (around 2 thousand dollars which were quite\ngenerous to cover a good room, food and other important student expenses) is\ntotally enough and I don’t understand why I might need more money than\nthat”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had never thought that money is\nsignificant and that it should be a goal to make more money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did 2 start-ups in my life, but\nagain I did them just because I felt it is something interesting and useful but\nnot because I desperately needed money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I studied for 7 years for my\nBachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s very hard, and again I neither felt that I was doing it\nfor money nor I had the strong desire to get money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It changed about four years ago.\nMaybe it was because I grew up and become an “adult”. Maybe it was\nbecause of the understanding that I need to care about myself and the people I\nlove. Maybe, it was the understanding that money is a valuable resource. I\nthink it was the combination of all three. But in any case, I got a powerful\ndesire to get more money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I have been curious about how I\ncould get \u00a380k, \u00a3100k, \u00a3150k, \u00a3200k and more of income per year. I am curious\nhow I can get \u00a310k millions of capital to feel more secure and to invest this\ncapital into the projects I care about (both commercially and\nnon-commercially). I know of people who have achieved it, and it is possible\nindeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are the Points of Attention\naka Tools to Achieve The Goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Focus.<\/li>
  2. Meditation and awareness of the\nworld.<\/li>
  3. Network and people.<\/li>
  4. Knowledge and skills. Support and\nmentorship.<\/li>
  5. Smart and hard work.<\/li>
  6. God and Goodness. Honour and\nrespect.<\/li>
  7. Love yourself. Care about\nyourself (good health, proper rest, good states of mind).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    The Focus <\/strong>is the most important. It allows\nyou always to remember what your goals are. It glues everything else together,\nincluding all other tools. The ultimate Focus <\/strong>is to be aware at every moment who you are, what\nyou need, what you are doing and how you are doing this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    The Meditation<\/strong>, along with the Focus, allows\nyou to be mindful about yourself and the world. It allows you to be aware of\nwhat is happening right now, why it is happening, what were the causes of it\nand what the possible scenarios of the future are, and how you can navigate in\nthem and choose what you need. The Meditation <\/strong>is the peaceful and focused state. There are\ndefinitely different approaches and interpretations of the Meditation. However,\nfor me, the ultimate goal is to be meditating 24 hours, all the time. It is bliss\nto be always mindful. I also see the meditation as something that should be by\ndefault very simple and easily achievable, although it is hard indeed to always\nremember to be mindful and aware. The Focus helps though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    It is impossible to do anything\nwithout others, hence People <\/strong>do help. The more people you know, generally the\nmore opportunities you have. The Network of People <\/strong>you know is an essential\nresource. Alone you can do X, together with 100 good people you can do 100X or\neven more thanks to synergy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Knowledge and Skills, Support and\nMentorship <\/strong>are\napparent components. The more knowledge and skills you have, the more you can\ndo, assuming the substantial amount of those are practical skills. The most\nefficient way to acquire those is through support and mentorship from other\npeoples who already have them. Then, you can pass the knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Your work <\/strong>should be hard<\/strong>, but most importantly smart<\/strong>. You can make 2x income if you work twice the time\n(e.g. you can earn \u00a360k if your regular salary is \u00a330k). However, it is not\nsustainable at all long-term. The health, brain and other resources are easily\ntearing and wearing. The smarter you work, the more you can achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    God and Goodness <\/strong>are crucial. They probably\ndeserve the first place; however, they are useless if you lose the focus (and\nhence forget how essential Goodness is). It is also hard to appreciate these\nconcepts without the society (thus the People). No matter how much money you\nmake or intend to make, if your business is not fair, it won’t be worth it, I\nbelieve. It is okay to make really a lot of money, but it should be in line\nwith doing good and right things and keeping the honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Finally, the Love<\/strong> to yourself helps you to keep your mind, body\nand soul in the right state, without overworking or any getting any craziness.\nI believe the love to others starts after the love to yourself and after you begin\ncaring towards yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Source of Success Is\nTransformation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    While the happiness starts from\nthe acceptance of now, the road to success begins with transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are so many opportunities\nfor everybody on this planet. So many things we can do, each of us. It is just\na question of how to get the skills, experience, and how to start using them.\nHow to stay focus. How to transform yourself and help others to change\nthemselves if they wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are so many things we can\nwork on together to get a better life for all of us. These include the\napplications of technology, meditation and mindfulness, art, space exploration,\nmedical applications, food and shelter provisions, safe environments, education\nopportunities for everyone. All of this is achievable if we cooperate and work\ntogether.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One way to summarise what I mean\nto myself and remind myself constantly, in line with the above, is as follows\n(I call it a “personal manifesto” sometimes):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    “I, Yura, take\nresponsibility for my life. I focus on important things, such as being mindful,\nloving myself and caring towards myself and others reasonably, being a good\nprofessional and improving my skills. I am a responsible citizen, and I care\nabout the environment, fairness in society and humankind development and\nsustainability. The evolutionary growth is definitely better than any\nrevolution; the peace is better than a war no doubt, and development is better\nthan stagnation. I appreciate the myriads of opportunities which exist, and I\nuse them. I study and improve my knowledge and skills in order to apply the\ntechnology and create and use art for the sake of humanity. I appreciate it is\nimportant to think and be mindful and wise and do good things. I am in control\nof my life.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
